Tuition Fees
Public institutions charge fees set by the state. Most students from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland pay higher “differentiated” fees for bachelor's (licence) and master's degrees. Universities may exempt some of these students. Doctoral fees are the same for everyone. Most students also pay the CVEC student life contribution. Private institutions set their own fees.

- €2,902 per year
- Master's, non-EU differentiated fee (2026-27)
- €3,950 per year
- Doctorate, all students (2026-27)
- €398 per year
- CVEC student life contribution (2026-27)
- €105 per year

The employer must notify the prefecture before you start. Algerian nationals have different rules. After a master's-level degree, you can get a one-year permit to look for a job or create a company.
- Work during studies
- Up to 964 hours per year
- Post-study: job-search / business-creation permit
- 1 year, not renewable (master's-level degree or licence professionnelle)
