Master Programme
Computer Science
Adelaide University's Master of Computer Science (the University of Adelaide and UniSA merged into Adelaide University in 2026) is for graduates who already studied computing. Core courses include specialised programming, advanced algorithmic problem solving, evolutionary computation, computer networks and systems modelling, and designing and building large software systems. Students choose electives in computer security, data and information management, or networks, many of which cover mobile and wireless systems. Every student proposes and completes a research project, then presents it publicly and writes a report. The degree is provisionally accredited by the Australian Computer Society. Careers include computer scientist, AI specialist, defence scientist, systems programmer and IT manager.
