Master Programme

Aerospace Engineering

Bristol's RAeS-accredited MEng Aerospace Engineering is organised around four themes: aerodynamics, structures and materials, dynamics and control, and systems and design, applied to fixed and rotary wing aircraft, spacecraft and renewable energy. Year 1 is shared with other engineering disciplines and includes an introduction to aerospace; Year 2 specialises, with a hands-on group design-build-test project; Year 3 covers advanced topics such as computational fluid dynamics, finite element analysis and feedback control with an individual research project; and Year 4 is a capstone group design project with options. Entry is through UCAS (course code H410).
