Bachelor Programme

Chemistry

Bristol's RSC-accredited BSc Chemistry builds strong foundations in inorganic, organic and physical chemistry, with applications in analytical, environmental, materials and theoretical chemistry, chemistry-specific mathematics and extensive practical work in teaching labs. The first two years are shared with Bristol's other chemistry degrees, with careers support built into units, and in Year 3 students specialise through a project, which can be in a research lab, in a local school developing science resources, or in chemistry education research. Entry is through UCAS (course code F100).
