Bachelor Programme

Computer Science

Bristol's BCS-accredited BSc Computer Science starts with algorithms, programming paradigms and the mathematics and statistics behind computing, plus computer architecture, concurrent and networked computing, human-computer interaction and software tools. In Year 2 students work in a team on a software development project for a real business or organisation, and in the final year they choose advanced options in areas such as high-performance computing, machine learning, cryptography and AI, alongside an individual project co-created with a supervisor. Facilities include Windows, Linux and GPU labs and a Maker Space. Entry is through UCAS (course code G400).
