Bachelor Programme

Psychological Science

Deakin's Bachelor of Psychological Science gives a strong grounding in human behaviour and personality, with practical skills in communication, counselling and professional practice. Deakin says it is the only Victorian undergraduate psychology degree with specialist majors from first year: child and family studies, organisational studies and forensic studies. Students can do 140 hours of industry placement. The degree leads to honours and further study towards registration as a psychologist, and the trimester system lets students finish faster.
