Bachelor Programme

Artificial Intelligence

The BSc Artificial Intelligence treats AI as both a science (using computer models to understand natural intelligence) and an engineering discipline (building systems that make intelligent decisions). It shares its first two years with the other informatics degrees, covering programming, computation, software development, data science, decision making, algorithms and the related mathematics, and then lets students specialise in AI and other informatics options in Year 3 before an individual honours project in Year 4. No prior programming experience is required. Entry is through UCAS (course code G700).
