Bachelor Programme

International Relations

Edinburgh's MA (Hons) International Relations looks at problems that cross national borders, from climate change and global inequality to interstate war, and at how ideas of sovereignty, power and justice change at the international level. Year 1 introduces politics, international relations and political thought, Year 2 adds IR theory and political data analysis, Year 3 covers research design and a wide range of honours options, and Year 4 combines further options with an honours dissertation. Study abroad is available. Entry is through UCAS (course code L250).
