Bachelor Programme
Scots Law
Glasgow's Scots Law LLB is the degree for those planning to enter the Scottish legal profession, and a starting point for later qualifying in other jurisdictions. Year 1 offers foundational courses such as constitutional law, legal study, obligations, family law and criminal law and evidence; Year 2 adds jurisprudence, law and government, property, commercial law, business organisations and EU law, with options such as environmental, labour and international private law. Admission to Honours follows Year 2, after which students choose from over 50 courses a year to specialise; the degree can also end as a three-year Ordinary LLB. Entry is through UCAS (course code M114), and applicants must complete the LNAT.
