Application Deadline

International applicants: Humber has no fixed application deadline. It warns that it receives far more applications than it has seats, that programs fill very quickly, and that availability depends on when your application is processed, not when it is submitted, so apply early; waitlisted applicants can receive offers up to the fifth day of class. Canadian applicants: for highly competitive programs, applications received by February 1 get equal consideration; after that, applications are reviewed first come, first served while space remains and until the program closes

Tuition Information

Humber lists the 2026/2027 fee for two semesters as CAD 6,603.27 for Canadian students and CAD 20,867.55 for international students. International students also pay a mandatory health insurance fee once per academic year (CAD 418.15 for fall or winter starts, CAD 207.26 for summer starts). The program page's upcoming-year view (September 2027 to August 2028) still shows the 2026/2027 fee, so 2027/2028 fees are not yet published; Humber notes that fees are subject to change. Humber also lists additional costs: about CAD 1,900 for placement clearances and certifications, immunizations and placement travel.

Admission Requirements

  • Apply: international applicants use the Humber Web Application and pay a CAD 100 non-refundable fee (covering up to two program choices for one intake). After accepting an offer, international students pay a CAD 2,000 tuition deposit by the date in the offer letter; Humber requests the Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) for the study permit only after the deposit is paid. Canadian applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca (Humber lists a CAD 150 processing fee) and pay a CAD 250 tuition deposit after confirming an offer
  • Academic (Canadian applicants): OSSD or equivalent with Grade 12 English (ENG4C or ENG4U), Grade 12 math (MAP4C, MCT4C, MDM4U, MCB4U, MGA4U, MCV4U or MHF4U), Grade 11 or 12 biology and Grade 11 or 12 chemistry; or mature student status, or college or university transfer status
  • Clinical placements require clearances. Humber estimates about CAD 1,900 for Standard First Aid and CPR-HCP, an ASIST course, a vulnerable sector screen, immunizations and placement travel
  • International applicants upload scanned transcripts and credentials for all previous study (with notarized English translations where needed); Humber's academic equivalency tool lists the equivalent requirements by country
  • English proficiency (certificates, diplomas and advanced diplomas): IELTS Academic 6.0 with no band below 5.5, TOEFL iBT 80 with at least 20 in each skill (or 4 with no score below 3.5 on the post-January 2026 scale), PTE Academic 53-57, Duolingo 105, CAEL 60, Cambridge 169 with no subscore below 162, LanguageCert Academic 65-69 with no skill below 60 or MET 56; or show at least one year of full-time secondary study in an English-language school system where English is the main language (not accepted for master's programs), or one full year of successful college or university study where English is the language of instruction. Tests must be from the last 24 months, and some programs set higher scores
  • International availability on the program page as of October 5, 2026: January 2027 at North Campus (Toronto): closed; May 2027 at North Campus (Toronto): open; September 2027 at North Campus (Toronto): open; September 2027 at Humber Heights Living Classroom (off campus): open; January 2028 at North Campus (Toronto): opening soon; May 2028 at North Campus (Toronto): opening soon. Statuses are as Humber publishes them; "Opening Soon" appears to mean applications for that intake have not opened yet.
  • Humber's program page marks this program as PGWP-eligible (CIP code 51.3901). Humber also notes that online programs are not currently PGWP-eligible and that the Government of Canada (IRCC) makes the final eligibility decision
