Master Programme
Chemistry
Imperial's professionally accredited MSci Chemistry takes students to Master's level over four years. The first two years cover inorganic, organic, physical, analytical, synthetic and computational chemistry through interdisciplinary modules and an extensive lab programme, before students specialise in advanced topics. Year 3 introduces 'industry 4.0' approaches such as rapid prototyping, 3D printing, electronics and machine learning, and the final year centres on a six-month independent research project in one of the department's research groups. Entry is through UCAS (course code F103, institution code I50); there is no admissions test, and shortlisted applicants are invited to an academic interview.
