Bachelor Programme
Economics
Manchester's BSc Economics is a quantitative degree for students who already know they want to specialise in economics and have a good mathematical background. It gives in-depth training in economic principles, mathematical modelling and econometrics before students specialise through optional units, with an optional dissertation in Year 3. Students can add a year abroad or a placement year, which makes the degree four years long. Entry is through UCAS (course code L102, institution code M20); the school does not interview.
