Master Programme

Pharmacy

Manchester's four-year MPharm integrates pharmaceutical science with pharmacy practice throughout, using clinical problems, teaching from practising pharmacists and pharmacist prescribers, and workplace experience across different sectors of pharmacy. Students develop consultation, clinical decision-making, professional and leadership skills. The degree is accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC); after graduating, students complete a foundation training year and the GPhC registration assessment to register as pharmacists. Entry is through UCAS (course code B230, institution code M20), and interviews are part of selection.
