Bachelor Programme

Actuarial Science

Monash's Bachelor of Actuarial Science trains students to measure and manage financial risk by applying mathematics and statistics to business problems. It builds on financial accounting, micro- and macroeconomics and economic statistics, then moves into corporate finance, debt markets and fixed-income securities, with specialisations in actuarial analytics or actuarial studies. It is accredited by the Actuaries Institute, giving a route to the Foundation Program of the Institute's professional qualification. Domestic students apply through VTAC; international students apply directly to Monash with course code B2033.
