Bachelor Programme

Biomedical Science

Monash's Bachelor of Biomedical Science studies how disease develops, affects the body and can be treated or prevented, combining core biomedical units with electives ranging from global health to languages. Assessment is often hands-on and project-based, and students gain experience through internships, work-integrated learning and research projects. High achievers can join the Biomedicine Undergraduate Scholars Program. Graduates go into research, clinical trials, the pharmaceutical industry, health policy or graduate-entry medicine. Domestic students apply through VTAC; international students apply directly to Monash with course code M2003.
