Bachelor Programme

Computer Science

Monash's Bachelor of Computer Science, taught by the Faculty of Information Technology, focuses on the theory of computation and its mathematical foundations. Students learn to design algorithms and data structures and turn them into working software. They can specialise in algorithms and software, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity or data science, and professional practice units with industry partners, placements and internships help them build a portfolio of real projects. The course is also offered at Monash Malaysia. Domestic students apply through VTAC; international students apply directly to Monash with course code C2001.
