Bachelor Programme
Laws (Honours)
Monash's Bachelor of Laws (Honours) starts with the concepts, procedures and reasoning of the Australian legal system. Students then choose specialist law electives, such as negotiation and conflict resolution or media law, plus non-law electives or a double degree. Monash guarantees every student a clinical legal education placement, and students can moot in the on-site courtroom and study abroad, for example at the Prato Centre in Italy. The course is equivalent to 4.25 years of full-time study and can be accelerated to finish in four. Domestic students apply through VTAC; international students apply directly to Monash with course code L3001, or through VTAC if completing an Australian Year 12 or the IB in Australia.
