Admission can be competitive and some programs fill quickly, so check the program's availability before applying and apply early; waitlists are kept until the fifth day of classes. Canadian applicants: apply through ontariocolleges.ca by February 1 for equal consideration for programs starting in the fall; later applications are accepted while a program still has space

Tuition Information

Sheridan lists 2026–2027 fees for the first two semesters as CAD 4,742.60 for Canadian students and CAD 19,700.40 for international students. These are estimates that include tuition, health insurance and ancillary charges; later semesters aren't shown and fees are subject to change. International students are enrolled in Guard.me health coverage once per academic year (2026–27: CAD 580 for a fall start, CAD 395 for winter, CAD 200 for spring/summer). 2027–2028 fees are not yet published.

Admission Requirements

  • Apply: international applicants use Sheridan's International Application Portal and pay the application fee online by credit card. To request the Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) needed for a study permit, new international students accept their offer and pay a non-refundable CAD 2,000 tuition deposit (Sheridan issues the PAL 1-3 business days after the deposit posts); the rest of the first-term fees is due by the date in the letter of acceptance. Canadian applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca (up to three Sheridan programs per application) and pay a CAD 250 full-time tuition deposit
  • Academic (Canadian applicants): OSSD or equivalent with Grade 12 English (ENG4C or ENG4U). Mature students (19 or older) can qualify through testing or Sheridan's free Academic Upgrading
  • International applicants submit official transcripts showing courses completed to date, and any credential earned, at the time of application, with a notarized official English translation and a copy of the original where documents aren't in English. Sheridan says international applicants must meet the course equivalencies of the Canadian admission requirements
  • English proficiency (certificate and diploma programs): IELTS Academic 6.0 with no band below 5.5, TOEFL iBT 80 with no section below 20 (or 4 with no section below 4 on the 2026 scale), PTE Academic 58 with no section below 49, Duolingo 105 with no subscore below 85, CAEL 60 with no section below 50, Cambridge 169 with no score below 162, LanguageCert Academic 65 with no skill below 60, iTEP Academic-Plus 3.7, or Sheridan's EAP Level 5 (70%); or show prior full-time study in English (two or more years at a recognized secondary school or college, or one year at a recognized university), or residence and English-language study in a country on Sheridan's exemption list (exempt applicants still present a senior English course). Test results must be from the 24 months before the first day of classes, and some programs ask for higher scores
  • International availability on the program page as of October 5, 2026 (in-person and hybrid offerings; online-only offerings aren't listed for international applicants): January 2027 at Hazel McCallion Campus (Mississauga): available; May 2027 at Hazel McCallion Campus (Mississauga): available; September 2027 at Hazel McCallion Campus (Mississauga): available; May 2028 at Hazel McCallion Campus (Mississauga): opening soon. Sheridan notes that hybrid delivery may mix online and in-person courses and that international students should check with a Sheridan immigration adviser that their academic plan complies with IRCC rules.
  • PGWP: Sheridan's program page states that this program is PGWP-aligned. Sheridan's PGWP-aligned programs page explains that, based on the information currently available, the listed programs meet IRCC's requirements and may allow graduates to get a post-graduation work permit
