Application Deadline

International applicants: Sheridan has not yet posted its international application dates (its program apply pages say they will be posted shortly). Admission can be competitive and some programs fill quickly, so check the program's availability before applying and apply early; waitlists are kept until the fifth day of classes. Canadian applicants: apply through ontariocolleges.ca by February 1 for equal consideration for programs starting in the fall; later applications are accepted while a program still has space

Tuition Information

Sheridan lists 2026–2027 fees for the first two semesters as CAD 5,021.04 for Canadian students and CAD 21,482.75 for international students. These are estimates that include tuition, health insurance and ancillary charges; later semesters aren't shown and fees are subject to change. International students are enrolled in Guard.me health coverage once per academic year (2026–27: CAD 580 for a fall start, CAD 395 for winter, CAD 200 for spring/summer). 2027–2028 fees are not yet published.

Admission Requirements

  • Apply: international applicants use Sheridan's International Application Portal and pay the application fee online by credit card. To request the Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) needed for a study permit, new international students accept their offer and pay a non-refundable CAD 2,000 tuition deposit (Sheridan issues the PAL 1-3 business days after the deposit posts); the rest of the first-term fees is due by the date in the letter of acceptance. Canadian applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca (up to three Sheridan programs per application) and pay a CAD 250 full-time tuition deposit
  • Academic: a postsecondary diploma, advanced diploma or degree, or competence shown through education and/or related work experience (applicants with an unrelated credential or experience submit extra information through the applicant portal)
  • Canadian applicants submit transcripts to ontariocolleges.ca; those educated outside Canada need an ICAS or WES credential assessment. Private career college courses and credentials aren't accepted for admission
  • International applicants submit official transcripts showing courses completed to date, and any credential earned, at the time of application, with a notarized official English translation and a copy of the original where documents aren't in English. Sheridan says international applicants must meet the course equivalencies of the Canadian admission requirements
  • English proficiency (degree, master's and graduate certificate programs): IELTS Academic 6.5 with no band below 6.0, TOEFL iBT 88 with no section below 21 (or 4.5 with no section below 4.5 on the 2026 scale), PTE Academic 60 with no section below 57, Duolingo 115 with no subscore below 95, CAEL 70 with no section below 60, Cambridge 176 with no score below 169, LanguageCert Academic 70 with no skill below 65, iTEP Academic-Plus 3.9, or Sheridan's EAP Level 5 (75%); or show prior full-time study in English (two or more years at a recognized secondary school or college, one year at a recognized university, or one year in a post-graduate certificate at a recognized college), or residence and English-language study in a country on Sheridan's exemption list. Test results must be from the 24 months before the first day of classes, and some programs ask for higher scores
  • International availability on the program page as of October 5, 2026 (in-person and hybrid offerings; online-only offerings aren't listed for international applicants): 2-year track: January 2027 at Davis Campus (Brampton): available; September 2027 at Davis Campus (Brampton): available; January 2028 at Davis Campus (Brampton): opening soon | 1-year track: January 2027 at Davis Campus (Brampton): available; May 2027 at Davis Campus (Brampton): available; January 2028 at Davis Campus (Brampton): opening soon; May 2028 at Davis Campus (Brampton): opening soon.

  • Program tracks: 1-year track: two semesters of coursework. 2-year track: an introductory semester on Canada's healthcare system, three semesters of coursework, then a mandatory 392-hour field placement
