Bachelor Programme

Design in Architecture

Sydney's Bachelor of Design in Architecture is the first step towards becoming a registered architect. Each semester is built around a design studio, supported by core units in architectural history and theory, communication, building technology and art workshops, with electives in architecture, design, sustainability, urban design and planning. Teaching combines studio work, lectures, seminars and field trips, and graduates usually continue to a Master of Architecture to qualify for registration. Domestic students apply through UAC (code 513115); international students apply directly to the University.
