After foundation units in mathematics and computing and multidisciplinary projects, students take specialist mechanical units with an optional specialisation. The final year includes an honours thesis and industry work experience, and the degree is accredited by Engineers Australia. Domestic students apply through UAC (code 513555); international students apply directly to the University.
