Bachelor Programme
Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta is a broad program built on five core areas: solid mechanics, dynamics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and design. Theory is paired with hands-on design work, and graduates go into industries from transportation to medicine. Students enter after the common first year of Engineering, can choose a traditional or co-op route, and can add a co-op-only Biomedical Option.
