Bachelor Programme

Combined Majors in Statistics

UBC Vancouver's combined majors in Statistics pair statistical training with a second subject, so students build statistical reasoning, computing and mathematics alongside another discipline. Options include the BSc Combined Majors in Statistics and Economics and in Computer Science and Statistics, the BA Combined Major in Economics and Statistics, and combined honours with Mathematics or Computer Science, with co-op available. None of these is direct entry: BSc students are admitted to the Faculty of Science and apply for the combined major after first year (the Statistics and Economics option also goes through the Economics admission process), while BA students are admitted to Arts and apply to the Vancouver School of Economics.
