Bachelor Programme
Computer Science (BSc)
UBC Vancouver's four-year Bachelor of Science in Computer Science builds a strong foundation in software design, algorithms and core computing topics such as databases, operating systems, security and machine learning, alongside general Science requirements. Students can add options such as Software Engineering or the Artificial Intelligence option introduced in 2026, and co-op and honours routes are available. This is not a direct-entry program: students are admitted to the Faculty of Science (BSc) and apply for the Computer Science specialization at the end of first year.
