Bachelor Programme
Conservation
Conservation at UBC Vancouver is a four-year major in the Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources, and the most popular program in the Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Stewardship, about protecting and managing wildlife, forests, rivers, oceans and land. Students combine natural and social sciences with policy, planning and quantitative tools, and after second year can choose the Science and Management specialization (with a semester-long Integrated Field School) or Global Perspectives (with an international or cultural experience); co-op and a thesis option are available. Students are admitted directly into the BSc in Natural Resources and declare the major at the end of first year.
