Bachelor Programme

Food, Nutrition and Health

Food, Nutrition, and Health at UBC Vancouver is a four-year Bachelor of Science from the Faculty of Land and Food Systems that looks at food production, food security and the role of nutrition in preventing disease. It is the most flexible FNH major, letting students build their own mix of food science and nutrition courses and electives, with access to the culinary, sensory and clinical nutrition labs in the FNH building, plus co-op, minors and dual-degree options. It is a common preparation for health professional programs such as medicine, dentistry, nursing or midwifery, and students are admitted directly from secondary school.
