Bachelor Programme

Geography: Human Geography

Geography: Human Geography at UBC Vancouver is a four-year Bachelor of Arts major that studies how people use and experience the world, from nature-society relations and place and identity to the spatial basis of economies and cities. Upper-level courses are organized around three themes (cultures and places, cities and globalization, and nature and society) plus research and methods, and Honours and co-op are available. This is not a direct-entry program: students are admitted to the Bachelor of Arts and can declare the major after completing 27 credits.
