Bachelor Programme

Global Resource Systems

Global Resource Systems at UBC Vancouver is a four-year Bachelor of Science from the Faculty of Land and Food Systems for students who want to tackle resource problems with a global, interdisciplinary approach. In third and fourth year students design their own path by choosing a resource specialization (such as sustainable agriculture, food security, global health or international development) and a world region (Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe or the Americas), with a required language, regional coursework and an international experience abroad. This is not a direct-entry program: students complete first year in Land and Food Systems, Arts or Science and then apply to GRS to start in second or third year.
