Bachelor Programme

Kinesiology: Multidisciplinary Science

The Multidisciplinary Science option of the Bachelor of Kinesiology at UBC Vancouver is a four-year program in which students build a cross-disciplinary course plan from the mechanical, physiological, psychological, sociological and pedagogical branches of kinesiology. After the common kinesiology core, students take upper-level courses across at least three of six areas, such as neuromechanics, psychology of movement, sociocultural studies, and systems biology, exercise and health, and can add a minor in Arts, Commerce, Land and Food Systems or Science. Students are admitted directly into the Bachelor of Kinesiology from secondary school and specialize in the option in the upper years.
