Bachelor Programme

Neuroscience

Neuroscience at UBC Vancouver is a four-year BSc major on the brain and nervous system, offered jointly by the Departments of Cellular and Physiological Sciences (Medicine), Zoology (Science) and Psychology (Arts). Students choose a Cellular & Molecular or a Behavioural & Cognitive emphasis, build data science skills throughout, and can complete a year-long research capstone in a campus lab; co-op is available. This is not a direct-entry program: students are admitted to the Faculty of Science (BSc) and apply for the Neuroscience specialization at the end of first year.
