Bachelor Programme

Religion

Religion at UBC Vancouver is an interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts major offered by the Program in the Study of Religion, covering religions across regions and historical periods through literary, historical, anthropological, psychological and sociological approaches. Students take core RGST courses on theory and method plus courses from departments such as Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies and Asian Studies, finishing with an advanced seminar; Honours (by coordinator permission) and co-op are available. This is not a direct-entry program: students are admitted to the Bachelor of Arts and self-declare the major once they reach second-year standing.
