Bachelor Programme

Theatre: Acting

Theatre: Acting at UBC Vancouver is a four-year Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Department of Theatre and Film that combines professional actor training with theatre history and theory and a liberal arts education. After a first year of foundation courses, students train in scene study, voice, movement, storytelling and improvisation, then move on to heightened text, devised work and screen acting, and perform in department productions. Admission is by audition: students apply to the BFA through UBC and submit a recorded audition to the department, entering Year 1 from high school or Year 2 as transfers.
