Bachelor Programme
Data Science
Data Science at UCalgary combines statistics and computing with knowledge from another discipline: alongside core courses in linear methods, calculus, discrete mathematics, programming and statistical inquiry, students complete a six-course concentration chosen from more than 25 fields. The program looks at what techniques such as machine learning can and cannot do, and at how people shape the way data is collected and presented, and it finishes with capstone projects on real data done in teams.
