Bachelor Programme
Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering BEng at UCL develops a deep understanding of the core principles of mechanical engineering and applies them to areas ranging from biomedical devices to alternative fuels and low-carbon shipping. Students take optional modules from across the Faculty of Engineering Sciences, complete individual projects and cross-faculty team challenges, and can compete for a year in industry in Year 3, which makes the degree four years long. Entry is through UCAS (course code H300), and applicants must also sit the TARA admissions test.
