Bachelor Programme
Medicine
UCL's six-year MBBS BSc starts with systems-based science modules and early patient contact, and includes an integrated BSc year in Year 3 that develops research skills. Later years are increasingly placement-based across hospitals and GP practices in and around London, leading up to the UK Medical Licensing Assessment and an eight-week elective in the final year; some students take the MBPhD route after Year 4. Entry is through UCAS (course code A100) by the 15 October deadline, with the UCAT required and multiple mini interviews (MMIs) for shortlisted applicants.
