Bachelor Programme
Actuarial Studies
UNSW's Bachelor of Actuarial Studies, taught by the School of Risk and Actuarial Studies, builds skills in financial mathematics, probability, actuarial models, machine learning and data analytics for careers in insurance, superannuation, banking and other quantitative roles. The degree is accredited by the Actuaries Institute, giving graduates exemptions from parts of its professional exams, and students can add a specialisation or take it as a double degree with Commerce, Computer Science or another Business School degree. UNSW moves from its three-term calendar to a flex-semester calendar in 2028, so degrees started in 2026 or 2027 will span both calendars and their length may vary. Domestic students apply through UAC (code 424300); international students apply directly to UNSW (program code 3586).

UNSW charges by the courses taken (per unit of credit), and fees are reviewed and usually rise each year.
