Bachelor Programme
Science
UNSW's Bachelor of Science lets students explore several disciplines in first year before choosing from 28 majors, such as anatomy, biotechnology, chemistry, physics, marine science and bioinformatics, with the option of a double major or one of 41 minors. Employability courses are built in from first year, and in later years students choose work placements, industry projects or research-based learning with UNSW's industry and research partners. UNSW moves from its three-term calendar to a flex-semester calendar in 2028, so degrees started in 2026 or 2027 will span both calendars and their length may vary. Domestic students apply through UAC (code 429000); international students apply directly to UNSW (program code 3970).

UNSW charges by the courses taken (per unit of credit), and fees are reviewed and usually rise each year.
