Bachelor Programme
Design in Visual Communication
The UTS Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication is a studio-based degree in typography, interaction design and image-making, taught in a dedicated studio space with input from industry practitioners. Students work on digital media, interaction design, photography and editorial design, from print publications to interactive apps, and engage critically with tools such as generative AI. Design and transdisciplinary electives broaden the degree, and projects with industry clients build real-world experience. Graduates become graphic, UX/UI, motion, publication and branding designers, illustrators and photographers.
