Bachelor Programme

Mathematical Sciences

UTS's Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences is an applied maths degree in which every student takes a major in Statistics and Data Science, building expertise in statistical modelling, data analysis and quantitative reasoning. Learning mixes workshops, computer labs and hands-on projects covering modelling, regression and linear models, programming and complex problem solving. The skills suit traditional maths fields and newer industries that rely on complex data. Graduates work as statisticians, data analysts and data scientists, financial or market analysts, mathematical modellers, programmers and business analysts.
