Bachelor Programme

Biomedical Science

The Bachelor of Biomedical Science is a practical health-science degree that builds knowledge of how the human body works in healthy and diseased states. Students specialise in one or two of about ten majors — such as Anatomy and Human Biology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Immunology, Neuroscience, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Pharmacology, and Physiology — or combine a biomedical major with Arts, Commerce or Science. It supports careers in health, research and pathways into postgraduate professional health courses.
