Master Programme

Chemistry

Warwick's four-year MChem Chemistry builds a foundation across inorganic, organic and physical chemistry in Years 1 and 2, alongside lab, coding and digital, communication and research skills. Year 3 adds options such as chemistry for the energy crisis, scientific writing or polymers for drug delivery, and the final MChem year is a significant research project in one of the department's research groups. Students can transfer between Warwick's chemistry degrees during the first two years, subject to academic requirements and, for overseas students, visa rules. Entry is through UCAS (course code F105, institution code W20).
