Student Jobs
Students aged 15 or over who hold a UAE residence visa can take a training placement, or be employed during academic holidays for up to 3 months in a row each time. The employer must get a student training and employment permit from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE), and training needs a no-objection letter from the institution. MOHRE also issues part-time work permits for people aged 18 or over. There is no student-specific post-study visa. Graduates can apply for the general jobseeker visit visa (60, 90 or 120 days, no sponsor needed) if they meet its rules. You need at least a bachelor's degree and must either be classed in MOHRE skill levels 1 to 3 or have graduated from one of the world's top 500 universities within the last 2 years. A financial guarantee is also required.
- Students 15+: work during academic holidays
- Up to 3 consecutive months each time (MOHRE student permit)
- Part-time work permit

- Weekly hour cap during term
